The world of luxury horology has been shaken to its core by the arrival of the latest batch of fake watches. The quality of these products has improved in leaps and bounds in recent years, but the latest crop have really shaken things up. Fake watches are now so good that it is practically impossible to tell them apart from the original It is not so hard to take a look on Cartier replica, Jaeger leCoultre replica watches or Breitling replica; a bold claim but true none the less. Those in the luxury watch-making industry have been really shook up by this development because they know that there is little they can do to stop the hemorrhage as many customers desert them in favor of the cheaper version of their watch. A lot of people are just not prepared to pay the high prices when they know that they can get the same quality at a fraction of the cost - why should they. There will be those who just won't be replica watches no matter how good they are; these people prefer to pay the big bucks that they know other people just can't control. Those in the luxury watch industry have been put in a bit of a dilemma by this current batch of fake watches. They know that if they don't drastically reduce their prices then some customers will go for these much cheaper fake watches. On the other hand, they also know that reducing their
exorbitant prices will annoy their richer customers who enjoy the exclusivity of their watches; these guys just don't want to own a watch that almost anyone could afford. Those in the designer watch industry are really caught between a rock and a hard place. It seems unlikely that they will be able prevent significant losses to the makers of fake watches. |
